The result of a one-day trash audit last March, the Ecology Club at CHS has gone all in on composting food waste from all three lunch periods.

Get ready to de-clutter your home before the holidays! There are two separate events coming up in Chelmsford to help you dispose of your clutter responsibly. These events have been coordinated so you can attend both on the same day in the same area.

On July 25, the Chelmsford Public Library sponsored an online event, The Trouble with “Tanglers”! Recycling Plastic Bags & Film, by Rebecca Gore, a long-time member of the Chelmsford Recycling Committee.

Thank you to everyone who participated in Chelmsford's Earth Week Clean-up this year! You and other volunteers, including students from CHS, picked up nearly 300 bags for the cleanup event, removing litter from our parks and neighborhoods.

The Chelmsford Recycling Committee launched a drive to collect over 500 pounds of plastic bags, plastic wraps and plastic film.
