Get ready to de-clutter your home before the holidays! There are two separate events coming up in Chelmsford to help you dispose of your clutter responsibly. These events have been coordinated so you can attend both on the same day in the same area.

What do you do with a broken toaster? Or with a bike when the wheel runs out of true? Or with a sweater full of moth holes? Toss it? No way! The Chelmsford Recycling Committee, the Chelmsford Library and the Chelmsford Senior Center are organizing the first Repair Café at the Chelmsford Senior Center on Saturday, September 23, from 10am-1pm.

The Chelmsford Public Library and Chelmsford Recycling Committee are organizing a series of Repair Cafes. We are looking for a few more skilled and tech-savvy makers to serve as coaches to help your neighbors learn to fix their own things.

The Town of Chelmsford has entered into a 5-year agreement with E.L. Harvey & Sons to provide the Town’s waste and recycling services

Chelmsford's 2023 Town-Wide Clean-Up was a great success! For the third year, the event stretched for a full week, allowing volunteers flexibility. This year, 77 individuals and groups volunteered to collected 330 bags of litter!
